nstat.verify_checksums()

Verify every manifest dataset against its recorded SHA-256 digest.

Returns:

Maps each dataset name to True when the file exists and its SHA-256 digest equals the manifest value. False is reported for a missing or uninstalled file and for a manifest entry that has no digest.

Return type:

dict of str to bool

Raises:

nstat.errors.DataNotFoundError – If the manifest file itself is missing.
